Challenge Yourself
How often do you challenge yourself? Trying new ways of doing business, or new ways of approaching certain situations can be uncomfortable. Because we tend to be creatures of habit, we’re sometimes fearful of change. But playing it “safe” will never get you where you want to go.
Successful people look at uncertain situations as opportunities for growth, not something to be feared. Don’t worry about the unknown,… like what might happen. Focus on the positive. View every obstacle as an opportunity, and learn something new from it.
Most people learn more from their “failures” than from their “successes”. As long as you can take something positive away from each and every situation, even if it wasn’t a successful situation, you’ve taken a step forward. And never waste time worrying about things that’ll very likely never happen.
Networking is really difficult for some.
At first, networking can be terrifying. For some anyway. But just like anything else, the more you do it, the more times you can put yourself in that situation, the easier it becomes. Think of it this way. If you need a stream of new prospects, what would you rather do? Cold call? Or attend a networking event where at least you can have some fun?
