One way this software operates is to put each user in a box containing a virtual collection of the necessary files. Thus all of the changes made by all of the users to several interdependent files can be compiled and viewed before being released upon the world.
In e-commerce, this can help dramatically, since in this business companies often will alter their marketing strategies to reflect a changing marketplace. It also helps in the educational segment, where schools can update their content on a day to day basis if need be.
